Bronze Meltdown Chair by Tom Price – I love an unique chair, interesting and very different from an ordinary chair. Chair like this will give something a touch ‘Living’ in an interior where the seat is located. Perhaps the following is one of them.
The Bronze Meltdown Chair is an attractive chair and the chair was designed uniquely by designer Tom Price.
This chair is made from polypropylene tubes, encased in a thick ceramic shell
then liquid bronze is poured until it melts out and create a cavity. Once cooled the ceramic shell then breakaway of form in bronze. It is called a ‘lost-plastic’ casting technique.
